The rumour mill is overflowing with Apple’s next generation iPhone “news” lately. While most rumours are worth brushing off, there’s usually something to Apple product theories.
Here’s a recap of all the latest iPhone 5S (or 5c?) gossip:
- First off, the company is known for unveiling new phones in the early fall. This year, the anticipated date is September 10th.
- This phone will likely be named the iPhone 5S, if you judge by precedent. It will go by 5c if you go by alleged leaked packaging photos.
- It’s expected this phone will look quite similar in shape to the iPhone 5, but it’s internal makeup will get some significant hardware tweaks.
- Those hardware tweaks are rumoured to include a faster A7 processor, a better camera with dual LED flash, and much-improved battery. Thank god.
- There’s been talk of a biometric fingerprint reader to use in place of a password.
- It’s also been speculated that the next iPhone might feature a larger screen.
- Forget black and white. Apple may even release new colours this time around.
